SUPPORT. SAFETY. A NEW BEGINNING
At Te Whare Tiaki Wāhine Refuge, we offer 24/7 support to help wāhine and tamariki live free from violence.

We have a drop-in space for kaumātua and kuia (elders) located at Rongomatāne where they can relax, talk to someone and have a cuppa
We also specialise in investigating concerns about elders who may be experiencing or at risk of abuse and neglect. Our focus is on providing a supportive cultural response to elders from Māori, Pasifika, Asian, African, Middle Eastern, and migrant communities.
